Saturday

Saturday 9:00 – 10:00 AM  The Book Cellar

Saturday is always an exciting day at the film festival and this year is even better. Start your day with free filmmaker talks at The Book Cellar (9:00-AM-10:00AM) and then head to some of the best films we have ever offered. Three of our top documentaries are THE ART OF EATING (a documentary about MFK Fisher), NO LEGS, ALL HEART (an amazing story of courage you will never forget) and AGAINST ALL ENEMIES (a gripping navigation into a group with ties to the Oath Keepers, recruiting and training Texas law enforcement.)

From 4-6, the Fairhope Public Library will host the Short Films Presentation, followed by Q&As by the awesome shorts filmmakers and emcee Mike McHugh.

THE RED CARPET PARTY moves inside this year at the Eastern Shore Art Center on Oak Street, 7:00PM-10;00PM. There will be dancing and fabulous music by Kenny on the Keys and delicious food and libations. Award winners will be announced at 9:00PM.

Sunday 9:00 – 10:00 AM  The Book Cellar

Sunday, Nov 12, will begin like Friday and Saturday during the festival, with Coffee Talks at The Book Cellar on De La Mare. Join insider filmmaker as they discuss their work and latest projects. It will be informative and fun with different folks participating every morning 9:00AM-10AM. Come, get some coffee, and we will have delicious pastries to start your day.

This year Sunday, November 12, will be a very special day as we will be screening the winners, both juried and audience chosen, from the festival. So, if you miss one, here is your chance to catch up. Starting at 10:00 AM and running until 4:00 PM, USABC will be the site of all the winners.

Another presentation you won’t want to miss on Sunday midday is Scramble. Local teens and other young people will present their work. They will be given 48 hours to create a short film, based on the same four ingredients all the contestants will be given. Films will be voted upon, chosen, and the top three winners will win cash prizes. Sign up now until Oct 15 at FH48 Scramble at FH48 social media page..
